The National Rifle Association's Annual Meeting arrives in St. Louis, Missouri on April 13th

R. Lee Ermey NRA General Operations Executive Director Kayne Robinson at the NRA Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh Got out of a meeting a few hours ago where we reviewed plans for the NRA's Annual Meeting this year in St. Louis, Missouri. Yes, you heard it ... the Annual Meeting meeting. Picture it:

Sitting in a chair on the outskirts of a big long table as every Annual Meeting aspect is reviewed. Roughly thirty people discussing everything from promotions to volunteers to the layout and tickets. And security ... security is always high on the list. As much as we want the experience to be enjoyable, we also want the experience to be safe.

For me, the toughest part was taking notes as everyone delivered their updates. Actually, while writing this, the toughest part is actually reading my notes. But that's another story.

So what's in the plans for this year? There's the Wall of Guns raffle where you can win one of 79 different guns, the Foundation Banquet, a seminar on Conceal Carry, the Antique Guns Showcase where you have a chance for our experts to look at your guns and Country Jam II which will be headlined by country superstar and Celebrity Apprentice runner-up Trace Adkins.

Also there will be some of our regular exhibitors such as MidwayUSA, Glock (with another appearance by Gunny R. Lee Ermey), Otis, Blaser and more. What more? Well, why not check out our Annual Meeting website at www.nraam.org, see what you like and sign up today.
