Next week, thousands of people from the shooting sports industry will descend upon Las Vegas for the 2012 SHOT Show, but one of the most exciting events of the week isn't taking place in the convention center - it's going to be on the range. Sanctioned by NRA Sports, the 3-Gun Nation Championship Shoot-Off Finale is scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, January 18th at the Clark County Shooting Range in Las vegas.
Eight of the nation's top 3-gun shooters will compete for $50,000 - one of the biggest cash payouts in the history of competitive shooting - all courtesy of Leupold Tactical Optics and NBC Sports. Presented by Brownell's, the 3GN Shoot-Off Finale promises to be the year's most gripping competition, and the shooters aren't the only ones who are going home with incredible prizes.
Those with a ticket to see the "Rumble on the Range" will automatically be entered into an $8,000 FNH-USA 3-Gun raffle which includes an FN SCAR 16s rifle, FN SLP shotgun, and FNX-9 pistol. Great prizes will also be given out from Timney Triggers and free food and drink will be served. Tickets are free and available on a limited first come, first serve basis at sponsor booths during SHOT Show. Those with tickets receive entrance into the show and transportation to and from the Sands Convention Center and Clark County Shooting Range.
The event will also feature shooting performances by exhibition shooters Patrick Flanigan and Jerry Miculek, stars of the new show "Hot Shots" on the NBC Sports Network.
