Last night was a big one here at the National Rifle Association. With our doors open late to any and all, we were lucky enough to play host to a neighbor up the road — The Military Channel. A subsidiary of Discovery Channel, they came to the NRA to premier the latest episode of their new show, "Triggers: Weapons That Changed the World."

Pulling out all the stops, the crew from Military Channel worked with a number of us at the NRA to help make this a great event. With plenty of food and frivolity to go around, people gathered early so they could ensure a good seating for the show. Titled "Battlefield Rifles," the crowd watched as host Wil Willis ran everything from musket to an M1 to a modern day sniper rifle through it's paces.

As the night came to a close, there was a buzz in the air and smiles all around.

“We had a fantastic evening screening TRIGGERS with the NRA," said Ron Simon, executive producer at the Military Channel. "We couldn’t think of a more perfect venue to showcase our new series surrounding the evolution of firearms.”
