Toys for Tots at the NRA

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation was started in 1947 by Marine Corps Reservist Major Bill Hendricks. Since then, the Marines have handed out more than 400 million toys to roughly 190 million children. Quite the feat.

Here at the NRA, we like to do our part in providing a little Christmas spirit for needy children in the DC area.

That's why we have donation boxes set up in the North Tower lobby.

If you'd like to swing by and make a donation, please keep in mind that Toys for Tots serves children from toddlers to seventeen years old. And if you'd like to bypass the lines at the mall, then a check payable to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation will do just fine. Donations will be accepted up and until December 14th.

For more information on Toys for Tots, visit their website at www.toysfortots.org.
