NRA volunteers on the range during the 2011 National Pistol Championships at Camp Perry

Every year, a hard working group of people help make various NRA events a success. From the National Matches at Camp Perry, to the NRA Bianchi Cup, and even the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, these dedicated men, women, and even a few children are the unsung heroes of the NRA. Who am I talking about? None other than our cadre of volunteers!

To help our volunteers stay on top of the news and prepare for upcoming events, we send out the NRA Volunteer Satchel several times a year to provide pertinent information and recognize the tireless efforts of the people who make it all possible. The newest edition (2011 Fall/Winter) of the NRA Volunteer Satchel is now available online.

It contains great information include a wrap-up of some of this year's biggest events like the 2011 Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, the Bianchi Cup, and of course, all of the action from Camp Perry this summer. We've also got news on who was recognized this year as well as some friends that we lost in 2011.

But the Volunteer Satchel isn't just for our current or past volunteers - it's also for those who are interested in lending a hand! It has the scoop on events looking for volunteers in 2012 and how to apply. With jobs to fit anyone's interests and abilities, NRA can help you find the perfect volunteer opportunity.

For more information on becoming an NRA Volunteer, send an email to volunteer@nrahq.org or visit the NRA Volunteer web page. We couldn't do it without our dedicated team of volunteers, so thank you to everyone who donated their time and effort to make 2011 a great year! We can't wait to see you again in 2012!
