King Wolf of the Snow by Sylvia So

Our next batch of winners in the 2011 George Montgomery/NRA Youth Wildlife Art Contest come from Category II, made up of students enrolled in grades four through six.

Students in this category have a few more years of practice under their belts and it really shows in the artwork. Just look at Sylvia So's King Wolf of the Snow, pictured above, to see what we mean. The difference of only a couple years of practice shows the quick improvements that can be made when a young artist is just beginning to hone their skills.
