When I think of some of the top names in shooting, Daniel Horner instantly comes to mind. When he's not on the road dominating the leaderboard at major 3-gun competitions across the country, this national champion is at Ft. Benning in Georgia serving as a shooter and instructor with the United States Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU).

But thanks to the USAMU's series of pro tips, you don't need to be in the Army to shoot like SSG Horner. In the video above, SSG Horner provides viewers with pro tips on shooting in the woods and how to use a tree for support. So whether you're hunting, competing in a course of fire using natural terrain, or using a tree for cover in a combat situation, SSG Horner has the advice you need to shoot like a pro. Interested in other pro tips from USAMU soldiers? Check out the USAMU YouTube Channel.
