2012 Brownell’s/NRA National Youth Shooting Sports Ambassadors logo

Our Youth Programs Department just announced the 2012 selection of the Brownell's/NRA National Youth Shooting Sports Ambassadors, a group of young people making a difference in the shooting sports and their community. These 6 young men and women are members of various NRA Youth Cooperative Organizations with shooting programs and were chosen for excellence in academics, involvement within their community, and participation in the shooting sports.

Here's a quick look at the 2012 Ambassadors who will represent their respective Youth Cooperative Organizations in 2012:

The 2012 Ambassadors will make their debut at the 2012 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada this January when they meet with leaders in the shooting sports industry. They will also travel to the 2012 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in St. Louis where they will serve as hosts for youth attendees and as representatives of their Youth Cooperative Organizations.

Each week we'll profile one of our new Ambassadors here on NRAblog, and we'll also have coverage of their trip to SHOT Show this coming January. Congratulations to our 2012 Ambassadors, and a big thank you to our friends at Brownell's for their continued support of NRA's Youth Programs.
