A few months ago, we told you about the Women's Wildlife Management/Conservation Scholarship, available to full-time female college juniors or seniors majoring in Wildlife Management, Conservation, or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or more.
This is a one-year, renewable scholarship of $1,000 from the NRA Foundation that can help young ladies pay for tuition, books, or other school related expenses.
The deadline to apply for this scholarship is November 1st, so don't waste another minute! You can access and submit the application online. Winners are selected in January by the NRA Women's Policies Committee, the same group who established the Women's Wildlife Management/Conservation Scholarship.
If you have a passion for conservation or the outdoors and would like to help support the Women's Wildlife Management/Conservation Scholarship, you can send a tax-deductible contribution to The NRA Foundation, c/o Sandy Elkin at 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.
