Brisbane, Australia - England, South Africa, Canada and others have sent their best Long Range High Power Rifle shooters to Brisbane for the 2011 World Long Range Championship at the Belmont Shooting Complex. With individual and team competitions lined up through the 22nd of October, there's plenty of opportunities for our men and women from Camp Perry to put their mark on the international stage.
An early bright spot are the USA's Young Eagles Teams. That's the 25 and under group of American shooters who took first and third in the Australia Match. That's 10 shots a piece at 300, 600, 900 and 1,000 yards. With Team Red's Andy Doney, Kyle Liebetrau and Ken Littlefield along with Team Blue's Vikki Gaddie, Kelly Bachand and Ken Littlefield serving as Captains, Coaches and Managers, our guys and girls managed a first and third place finish. Congrats!
