With fall hunting season around the corner and chilly weather approaching, NRA's Hunter Services Department has posted a new recipe of the month from the NRA Members' Wild Game Cookbook.
This month's feature is "Wet Bar Chili", submitted by Randy Hieronymus of Seattle, Washington. Made using elk or venison, this hearty chili also includes plenty of vegetables and savory spices to warm you up after a day in the woods. You could easily use beef in place of game meat or add beans or your favorite vegetables. Don't have any wine on hand? Not to worry - beef broth makes for an easy substitution. Randy recommends serving with cornbread, salad, and a cold beer.
