NRAblog hit Stage 2 of the JP Enterprises' Rocky Mountain 3-Gun just in time to catch a squad full of industry competitors including previous Bianchi Cup Champion Julie Golob, Safariland's Scott Carnahan, and members of Team FNH.
Sponsored and staffed by the United States Marine Corps' Combat Shooting Team from Quantico, Stage 2 is named "OO-RAH" and includes the use of all three firearms. Competitors start the stage with their shotgun while their pistol is holstered and their rifle is slung. After shooting a series of steel targets and abandoning their shotgun, shooters transition to their pistol and engage paper and steel targets. Finally, they abandon their pistol and engage paper, steel, and even stationary clay targets with their rifle.
We've got photos of the competitors in action above including Golob and Team FNH shooters Mark Hanish, Erik Lund, and Dianna Lierdorff. We'll be bringing you more coverage of the competition today and tomorrow, so keep checking back!
