Although Bruce Piatt is known for his skills with a pistol thanks to winning the NRA Bianchi Cup five times, he's also an accomplished 3-gun competitor who ranks among the best in the nation. Piatt is here at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico competing alongside other top 3-gunners in the JP Enterprises' Rocky Mountain 3-Gun Championship.
Take a look at Piatt in action on Stage 3, a true 3-gun stage that also includes two rifles - one from stage sponsor Stag Arms (used for the first few shots), and then the competitor's own rifle. This stage also has targets out to nearly 600 yards! A far cry from the up to 50 yards he's used to firing at Bianchi Cup, Piatt handles the long range rifle shots flawlessly.
