2011 NRA/USA National Civilian Pistol Team

Each year, the 10 highest scoring civilians from the previous year and two alternates are selected to be on the NRA/USA National Civilian Pistol Team to compete in an international postal match led by Team Captain Bill Blankenship and Team Adjutant John Gordon.

Today, our top civilian shooters from 2010 took to Viale Range to complete the course of fire, the ISSF Standard Pistol Course at 25 meters, fired with a .22 caliber pistol with any sights.

The scores this year were quite impressive, with the team scoring a total of 5584, four points more than the previous year. The team has won the postal match for the past three years, competing against teams from other nations. Here's a look at the individual scores from this year:

Bryan Layfield - 560 Paul Porter - 559 Brian Mallette - 548 Cecil Rhodes - 549

Kenneth Reindl - 560 Harvie Loomis - 563  Charles Hays - 570 Chuck Holt - 569
