NRA Training on NRAblog

We recently told you about the NRA Junior Pistol and Smallbore Rifle Camps being held at Camp Perry this summer, but what about training opportunities for adults? Well fear not, we've got several options for those of you looking to head back to summer school.

For those looking to learn to run the firing line or simply learn more about proper range operations, consider a Range Safety Officer Course offered by our Training Department. Two course will be held, the first July 18 and the second on July 29. To register or to learn more about the courses, visit www.nrainstructors.org or contact Sean Thorton at sthornton@nrahq.org.

Interested in helping others hone their shooting skills? Why not take one of our Coach Schools. The Coach Education Program is offering a Level 1 Pistol Coach School July 13-15 and a Level 3 Air Rifle/Smallbore from July 25-27. Learn more about the different coaching levels and what it takes to upgrade. To learn more about these coaches schools or to register, contact NRA National Coach Trainer Marcus Raab at mraab@nrahq.org.

Not joining us at Camp Perry this summer? New training courses and coach schools are added each week, so check www.nrainstructors.org for training opportunities in your area or the Coach School listing to find the right coaching course for you.
