Smallbore shooters at National Matches in Camp Perry collect their targets on NRAblog

The season for competitions is well underway. We've seen the Collegiate Club Rifle Championships in South Carolina, the first Tactical Police Competition in Texas, and a number of local clubs vying for their chance at the National BB Championship in Arkansas. But what about the 2011 National Outdoor Rifle & Pistol Championships in Camp Perry?

"We've already received hundreds of requests regarding Camp Perry," said NRA's Competitive Shooting Division's John Parker. "And it's good to see that a lot of people are taking advantage of our new Camp Perry online entry form."

Available to any Pistol, Smallbore, High Power, or Long Range High Power shooter, the online entry allows competitors to bypass the usual paperwork and worries that comes along with the traditional mailed in form.

"There's instant gratification," said Parker. "As soon as you complete the process, you know that you're good to go. I don't know about you, but I've entered tournaments and received confirmation only a week or two before the match. That can be stressful. But you don't have that worry with the online entry. Plus you receive a free 2011 Camp Perry pin if you enter online. What could be better?"

Submit your entry for the 2011 National Outdoor Rifle & Pistol Championships now.
