The National NRA Foundation Banquet in Pittsburgh on NRAblog.com

A couple of weeks ago, NRAblog warned you that tickets for the National NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction (sponsored by Cabelas and Leupold) at the Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh were going fast. Now we're telling you that the tickets are almost gone.

"Sales have been going through the roof," said Event Services Coordinator Sarah Young. "Everyone is excited about Annual Meeting, about attending the Banquet, and have tons of questions about the items up for auction."

100th Anniversary Edition Master Engraved Colt Model 1911 on NRAblog

Headlining the auction portion of the evening is the 100th Anniversary Edition Master Engraved Colt Model 1911. Donated by Colt’s Manufacturing, the 1911 is currently open for bids on GunBroker.com. The auction started a few days ago and concludes the night of the banquet. And the best part is that all the money raised that night will go to further the efforts of the NRA.

“Colt’s generous donation will assist The NRA Foundation in securing the future of NRA’s programs for the American public to experience,” said NRA's National Events and Marketing Manager John DaSilva. "Someone is going to walk away with a beautiful piece of craftsmanship that night."

To be a part of the NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction, and to see who walks away with the 100th Anniversary Colt, reserve your table now by going to the Friends of NRA website or pick up the phone and call 1-877-672-7632.
