The time is drawing near for this year's Association of College Unions International (ACUI) Clay Target Championships. Held March 30 - April 5 at the National Shooting Complex
in San Antonio, Texas, NRAblog will once again be headed to bring you coverage from the championships as they unfold.
This year's championships will once again
feature American Trap, American Skeet, Five-Stand, International Trap, International
Skeet and Sporting Clays events.
Longtime champion Lindenwood University is the favorite this year. The
university attracts many skilled shooters and has always placed well in each of the championship events. Winners of the High Combined Trap and Skeet award last year, the team is looking to defend their claim from a number of schools hungry to take their title.
If you're curious about the difference between the American and International disciplines, NRAblog has a great write-up to help you tell them apart.
Be sure to check back this weekend for pictures, interviews and results.
