Ann Marie Foster, NRA Women's Hunting Programs Coordinator, alerted NRAblog to these two remarkable hunt opportunities that are coming right up. Mark your calendars:

Talking Turkey

A great new NRA Women On Target® Hunt is calling first-time turkey huntresses!

It's a banner year for Eastern turkeys in Southeast Kansas. Why not plan a Spring excursion now? Join K&K Outfitters and Women on Target® from April 21-25, 2011. The only requirement is that you've never hunted turkeys before! Look here for cost and details, and to register right away before all the tickets are taken.

On the Wing

This one's right around the corner and there are just a couple spots left!

Join Women on Target® Hunts on a historic 210-acre Piedmont region estate near Culpeper, Virginia, on March 5, 2011, to hunt upland birds. There's room here for just twelve total wing-shooters on a half-day hunt that includes pointing dogs and a 3:1 hunter-to-guide ratio. Prime upland game birds include pheasants, Hungarian partridges, chukar and quail. Don't miss out!
