NRAblog received an email the other day asking about the 2nd annual NRA Great American Hunting and Outdoor Show at the Carroll County Agriculture Center - Shipley Arena in Westminster, Maryland. To paraphrase, Great American sounds like the perfect place to spend the weekend if you live on the East Coast, but what about us Midwesterners? Well we have an answer for you – America's Outdoor Show.

Opening Wednesday January 26th and running through the 30th, America's Outdoor Show is located at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center on River Road in Rosemont, Illinois. There'll be plenty of hunting favorites like Yukon Gear and Mossy Oak, more than 200 seminars including a secret for bagging monster whitetails by The Outdoor Channel's most popular hunting couple Lee and Tiffany Lakosky, and the largest indoor fishing lake in the Midwest.

But the good news doesn't stop there ... if you purchase an NRA membership for $15 at the door then admission is free. Just stop by the big NRA tent located by the ticket counters before entering the show. And for all our NRA Life Members, a valid membership card will earn you a $4.00 discount on admission.

So if you're in the Midwest and can't make it to the coast for Great American, think about America's Outdoor. Five days worth of the latest gear, educational activities, and entertainment for the entire family. Visit their website at www.americasoutdoorshow.com for more on discounts on admission, parking, and more.
