2010 YHEC Champions Hunter Efird and Levi Epps

Each year, the champions of the NRA Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) win more than just bragging rights. They also win a trip to Gsell's Whitetail Refuge in South Central Pennsylvania to participate in the YHEC Grand Champion Award Hunt. Late last month, Senior Champion Levi Epps and Junior Champion Hunter Efird traveled from their home state of North Carolina to Gsell's Whitetail Refuge to bag themselves a trophy buck.

Congratulations, Hunter and Levi!

Visit www.nrayhec.org to learn more about YHEC or find a program in your area/state so you can work towards becoming a YHEC Champion and win your own Award Hunt. You can also follow YHEC on Facebook and connect with other YHEC participants and volunteers across the country.
