I did it! The NRA's Women on Target® Instructional Shooting Clinics soared 20 percent in 2010.

"It’s been another great year for Women on Target® Instructional Shooting Clinics. We’ve grown by almost 20 percent with 326 clinics and well over 10,000 women attending events all over the US and in Ireland. The 2011 registrations were already coming in a few months ago," said Diane Danielson, Women on Target Instructional Clinic Coordinator.

"The Women On Target® Clinics are a great way to give women an opportunity to learn or improve their shooting skills while sharing the camaraderie, support, and mentoring skills of other women. The avenues are endless and the options to explore different disciplines of target shooting, competitive matches, other types of firearms and even continue on to be an instructor are all out there just waiting to be explored."

Not only were there some three dozen more shooting clinics on the calendar this year, but attendance jumped by more than 2,000. With registration and scheduling already underway, next year is shaping up to build on that momentum.
