In the entryway to the Hunter Services Department is one of the most interesting taxidermy displays I've ever laid eyes on. Greeting visitors upon entrance are two bucks immortalized in a fight, engaged in battle with their antlers locked.

On November 20, 1988, Bill Davis found two pairs of sheds locked together in Montgomery County, Maryland during the fall deer season. The sheds were taken to Travis Taxidermy and mounted in this incredible pose. They have been on display here at NRA Headquarters for over 20 years, with the title "Locked Forever." Whether it was two bucks dueling over a doe or simply defending their turf, these two will truly remain that way.
