Jan Raab, National Manager of NRA's High Power Rifle Programs, sent NRAblog the following on the Remembering the Brave Match trophy presentations in Quantico, Virginia:

On the last day, awards were presented for Saturday's individual match and Sunday's team match.  Each trophy was transported to the range and presented on the 600 yard line.  Before handing out the awards, Steve Beck read the bio of a fallen hero.  Knowing some of the families, he had some gripping and interesting stories to tell.   Marine Pfc Christopher White trophy was presented to the shooter with the high overall aggregate for the Garand, Springfield, Military Vintage Rifle matches.  Chris White’s father, who attended the event, asked his son’s squad leader to join him to share stories about Chris.  Ray Browne (the squad leader) participated in the matches and was pleasantly surprised to learn that he won that trophy, saying that it had something to do with fate.  Major Jim Land (USMC retired), Secretary of the NRA, was on hand to present a number of awards and talk about high power shooting.

This is a list of the trophies and the high score for each match.  The top three Service Rifle and top 3 Match Rifle shooters received plaques.
