Yesterday evening after the competition had wrapped up for the day, a social function was held for the competitors in the host hotel's atrium. Shooters were able to relax with a few drinks after a long day and catch up with one another -- this time, not under a blistering sun.
The big event during the social was the handing out of Competitor Bags. NRA staff spent much of Tuesday night stuffing over 200 bags with coozies, key chains, pistol grips, Safariland double rifle bags, large Otis cleaning kits, Caspian slides, Nighthawk custom $500 gift card, Hogue rifle stock, John Bianchi edition Blue Book, Federal ammunition, Dick’s Sporting Goods certificates, Maui Jim sunglasses, Brownells bags, and much more.
The bags were all laid out on the floor and competitors got to choose which one they received. Above, country singer Mark Wills gets his bag handed to him by NRA Bianchi Cup manager Tom Hughes. One gentleman told us this was his 31st bag. For more Bianchi Cup coverage, keep it right here at NRAblog.com!
