Sunny and her new home

Dogs are a common sight here at the NRA Great American Hunting & Outdoor Show – and for good reason. Dogs play an integral role in many hunts. NRAblog has spotted a variety of pointers and spaniels, along with labs, beagles, and mystery mutts.

Jan and Loops

The gorgeous English pointer we mentioned yesterday has found a home. This little girl's grandmother purchased the dog from Warrior's Mark, and she has been christened "Sunny."

"She slept between us last night," the grandma told us with a smile as her granddaughter nuzzled the 11-week old pup.

Among the adult dogs attending the show is this chocolate lab, pictured with NRA Hunters Service's Jan Taylor. At age two, "Loops" enjoys meeting new people and chasing smaller dogs, including Sunny.

Have a picture of your dog in the field? Drop us an email at GOblog@nrahq.org – your pooch may be the next star of NRAblog!
