Local student is type "A" all the way
Tyler McGee volunteers non-stop and still brings in top grades
APPLE VALLEY • Fundraisers. 4-H Club. Future Farmers of America. Volunteer Sheriff’s Explorer. Teaching gun safety to first-graders and giving hay rides to the elderly.
It’s hard not to get exhausted just hearing about everything 17-year-old Tyler McGee does.
But the Apple Valley High School senior does it all, and still keeps an impeccable A average.
“He’s a volunteer beyond volunteers,” said Trenae Nelson, assistant superintendent of educational services at Apple Valley Unified School District.
