Last week, the team from MetaMedia and Visual Edge Productions arrived at NRA Headquarters in Fairfax, VA, to film scenes for the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting DVD. The crew used numerous areas of the building, including the NRA's Headquarters Range. The video covers various aspects of pistol shooting such as different action types, nomenclature, cleaning, choosing a firearm, and marksmanship.

Executive Director of General Operations Kayne Robinson filmed the DVD's introduction in his office, but the video also features various other members of the NRA HQ staff. On Friday, production moved to the Izaak Walton League of America-Rockville Chapter in Germantown, MD, to film outdoor shooting sequences.
