The Filming of Phil Noir by Lars Dalseide 21. October 2009 10:52
NFM Senior Curator Phil Schreier getting into character

There's something special making its way to the airwaves come November. Thanks to a brainstorm that saw “Hurricane” Phil Schreier of the National Firearms Museum meet up with “Tropical Storm” John Popp of NRANews.com, November is about to become Phil Noir month.

Get ready for an entire month's worth of Curator's Corners devoted to the firearms found in the “film noir” classics of Mitchum, Bogart, and our very own Charlton Heston. The big guns, the small guns, and the classic guns will all be on display.

Above you see Senior Curator Phil Schreier getting into character yesterday as filming of the first segment was about to begin.

Thursday nights are about to get interesting!
