On October 10, 2009, the Ridge Rifle Association in conjunction with the NRA hosted a Women on Target event in Fincastle, Virginia. The event was succesful with 84 women attending.
The program included classes in firearm safety, cleaning, and safe storage. The women participated in range activities with both pistol and rifle. A BBQ lunch was provided which included a super assortment of pies, cakes, cookies, and pastries.
