Delta Rifles earn scholastic division national title
FAIRBANKS — Three Delta Junction shooters captured the international air rifle title in the scholastic division of the NRA National Junior Indoor Rifle and Pistol Championships.

Ryan Dunham-Bender, Amanda Fisher and Donald Hannan III, under the team name Delta Rifles, were sixth overall with a score of 1,141 out of 1,200.

Dunham-Bender led the Rifles with 385 points, which ranked 11th among intermediate juniors and 26th overall.

Fisher was one point behind. Her 384 was 14th among intermediate juniors and 31st overall.

Hannan rounded out the title-winning effort with a 372 (75th intermediate junior and 145th overall).
