Ted Haines of OC Ducks Unlimited

Wallkill, New York - Ducks Unlimited's Ted Haines took a minute to tell NRAblog about his experience at the 2009 New York State Rifle Pistol Association's Annual Meeting. As a District Chairman for Ducks Unlimited, Haines covers several counties in New York. Haines said this marks the third year DU has participated in New York's Annual Meeting.

"We do a lot of fundraising events, we have a sports day shoot in April, we do this, we do Blackrock Flea Market, we do other things," Haines told NRAblog. Haines, who has been with Ducks Unlimited for the past six years, said attendance was good on Saturday.

"Right now we're raffling a Beretta 20 gauge over-under shotgun," he explained. The firearm is displayed on the table in the above photo. "We're selling 150 tickets at $20 a piece. As soon as the tickets sell out, we pull the winner."

Haines encouraged attendees to check out the Orange County (NY) Ducks Unlimited website. "It has pictures from past events as well as what events are coming up."
