In addition to singing for the crowd of NRA Bianchi Cup competitors who gathered earlier tonight, country music star Michael Peterson said a few words. He took a moment to talk about what the NRA means to him, and the audience was all ears. Peterson thanked the NRA Bianchi Cup competitors, volunteers, and staff for their dedication to keeping the tradition of the Bianchi Cup alive, and even told a joke that implied the Bianchi Cup continues when competitors are gathered in heaven.

"My hat is off to the NRA for teaching young people," Peterson said, "and for protecting the second amendment."

Thanks to both Michael Peterson and Mark Wills for their participation in this year's championship, and we look forward to reporting on their shoot off tomorrow morning.
