Several NRA Bianchi Cup sponsors have product displays in the range house here at Green Valley Pistol and Rifle Club, but one is giving people an earful – quite literally.

Cathy of What-Ya-Say at the Bianchi Cup

Cathy Ergovich from “What-Ya-Say” Hearing and Vision is making custom fitted earplugs for competitors and spectators on-site. Above, she tests a young shooter's newly made earplugs.  Although Cathy works in the health care industry full-time, she started her hearing and vision protection business because of her love for shooting.

“I shoot quite a bit, so that’s what got me started doing this,” offered Cathy. As a competitive shooter, Cathy enjoys shooting her 9mm CZ pistol during IPSC, IDPA and tactical competitions.

Above, Cathy helps a competitor protect his hearing with new earplugs. In addition to her custom-fitted earplugs, Cathy has a variety of products for sale including eye protection, knives, and pins. For the 30th Anniversary of the Bianchi Cup, Cathy created a commemorative pin that each shooter received in their competitor bags.
