Yesterday concluded the final day of competition at the
Sabre Defence Blue Ridge Mountain 3-Gun Championship in Park City, Kentucky. After completing the last two stages of fire, shooters, spectators and staff gathered yesterday afternoon to view the prize tables and hear final results.
Army Marksmanship Unit shooters Daniel Horner (pictured above) and Robby Johnson (pictured below) took first place in their respective divisions after another incredible performance. Competitors weren't the only ones honored during the ceremony. John Sigler, NRA's President, and Mike Krei, Director of NRA's Competitive Shooting Division, were presented a custom rifle given by match sponsors including Sabre Defence, JP Enterprises, and LaRue Tactical.
The 2009 Sabre Defence Blue Ridge Mountain 3-Gun Championship was a success in its first year in Kentucky.
