“We are still accepting registrations for the inaugural NRA Open Range Day at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, AZ,” Vanessa Warner writes to NRAblog. Warner, who heads to Arizona a week from today to begin coordinating the event, says this will be the first event of its kind for the NRA. It's a day of introductory shooting for people with physical disabilities sponsored by NRA Disabled Shooting Services.

The day will include four types of recreational shooting, safety instruction and lunch.
