Families learn about collegiate shooting from program coaches

Hundreds showed up for the NRA College Nights at Camp Perry

Port Clinton, Ohio - During the NRA Smallbore and Prone National Championships, two college nights were hosted for the youth. The Smallbore and Prone phases of the National Matches consist of the highest percentage of junior shooters, making it the perfect time for the youth to learn about shooting competitively in college. Over 200 people attended the college nights and most of those attendees were junior shooters.

Port Clinton, Ohio - Although the heat index today is expected to reach a high of 104, Camp Perry's Range Crew is busy working in the sun and making sure the ranges are ready for tomorrow's Smallbore practice matches. Competitors have begun arriving to Camp Perry and some are already setting up personal tents in preparation for this week. With over 500 competitors expected for the Smallbore phase of the National Matches, Camp Perry will surely come alive tomorrow with laughter, chatter, and of course, gun shots.
