From Bass Pro Shops - Jim Supica to share highlights of the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum on Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World radio

In the first year, over 375,000 visitors flock to the new museum, located at Bass Pro Shops flagship store in Springfield, Missouri, to see rare, historical firearms.

The NRA National Sporting Arms Museum, which opened a year ago this month at Bass Pro Shops flagship Springfield, Missouri, store, will be featured on Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World radio. Jim Supica, NRA’s director of museums, will share the stories of the museum’s most rare, historical treasures, which have attracted over 375,000 visitors to date. The show will air Saturday, Aug 9, 2014, at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern time on RURAL RADIO’s SiriusXM channel 80.

Springfield, Missouri - Final touches are being applied to the guns and displays of the NRA's new National Sporting Arms Museum in Springfield. The results of ten years worth of work with Bass Pro Shops, the museum and it's nearly 1,000 guns will soon call the "granddaddy of all outdoor stores" home.

"The men and women of Bass Pro have been tremendous throughout this entire process," said NRA National Firearms Museum Director Jim Supica. "It's been a pleasure working with them as bring a wonderful example of America's love of the hunting, conservation and the sporting arms to the Missouri."
